Construction Documents must be obtained through the Construction Manager with a deposit of $200 refundable to bidding contractors. A PDF Disk may be purchased for cost of $20. Construction Documents obtained through other sources is not advisable due to the risk of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information. The documents obtained through the Construction Manager are considered the official version and take precedence over all other versions. Bid security, a bid bond by a surety company authorized to do business in Arkansas or a cashier’s check, payable to Ramsons, Inc. in the amount of 5%of the amount bid must be included with the bid. A 100% Performance and Payment Bond will be required upon award of the contract. Bidding contractors must have a valid Arkansas Contractors License at the time of bidding. All bids shall be binding for a period of 30 days from the date of the bid.

All bid proposals must be on the bid form provided in the specifications. The cost of the Performance and Payment Bond is to be included in the bid.

The Owner assumes no obligation to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive formalities in the bids, to evaluate the bids, and to accept any bid which, in the opinion of the Construction Manager, Owner and Architect, is in the best interest of the owner.
