We had a little break in the bad weather last week so we decided to green light a couple of major concrete pours. On Monday we poured around 30,000 square feet at Spirit Manufacturing, one of our newest industrial clients. After that our concrete crews hit Post Manufacturing on Tuesday for an 11,000 square foot pour.

Progress is being made!

Winter in the construction industry is normally the time to work on finishing projects and doing some housecleaning around the office to gear up for the coming building season. We are happy to announce that this year is an exception. We currently have three major projects coming out of the ground and another one pending:

Spirit Manufacturing (Jonesboro, Arkansas)

Maintenance Storage Addition to Post Foods, LLC (Jonesboro, Arkansas)

Addition to Eaglecrest Nursing Home (Ash Flat, Arkansas…rendering below)

Classified Industrial Project (the contract is pending, we’ll post full details when everything is finalized)

This may mean that the economy is starting to turn-around when you consider that none of these projects are government funded and three are industrial. Regardless if these projects represent a long-term rebound or a short-term boost, we are very excited about 2012.

We’ll post a profile on each of these exciting projects later in the week, so be sure and stop by and see why Ramsons is excited about 2012.
