Buildings
Philadelphia Elementary School: Ramsons began construction on this
71,502 square foot facility in 1996. Construction consisted of
slab on grade with a structural steel frame. The building was
all new construction and featured a standing seam metal roof and
brick veneer. Construction was completed in 12 months, which was
according to schedule. Due to the success of this project, Ramsons,
Inc. was chosen as construction manager for the Jonesboro School
District's renovations and additions to South Elementary School and
West Elementary School. This project received an "honorable Mention"
in the 1997 Metal Architecture Design Awards.
